    1. Prepare an abstract of your work
    2. Prepare a written paper of your work
    3. Prepare an oral presentation of your work
Visit the National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium website for the guidelines for the abstract, the paper, and the presentation.
  2. Have your local high school (public or private) join the Alabama Junior Academy of Science. See Form 1: School Membership for details on how to apply.

    1. Each member school is allowed at least one participant in each of the following areas: Biology, Engineering, Humanities/Behavioral Sciences, Physical Science, and Mathematics/Computer Science. More participants may be allowed to present if the regional counselor deems that the extra participants will not cause the regional symposium to run over time.
