Spring 2012 AAS Executive Committee meeting
Wednesday, February 22nd
Dinner in the Kellogg Conference Center Restaurant at 6 PM
The actual meeting will begin at approximately 7 PM

Please notice on the agenda that you are scheduled to provide a report at this meeting. Your report should be prepared as a WORD document and must include the agenda item number for your report (for example B2 for President's, B7 for Journal Editor's, etc. reports) in the upper right hand corner of the report. For section chairs, note that the new section numbers and names as approved at our Spring 2010 annual meeting, are now being used.

Please go to the Academy website and upload your report using the pull down menu for Executive Committee reports. All reports need to be submitted by the close of business on February 15th and need to be submitted whether or not you will be in attendance. A complete compilation of these reports will be distributed to you by Thursday so you will have this available for the morning.

We look forward to your participation in this meeting. Please forward any items that you would like to have considered under New Business to Mickie Powell (mpowell@uab.edu) by close of business on February 15th.

Committee Reports

Please submit your committee report using the form below. Your report should be a WORD document and should include the agenda item number for your report (e.g., B2 for President's; B7 for Journal Editor's; B12,II for Chemistry Section; etc...). The agenda item number should be located in the upper right hand corner of the report.

  1. First, enter the password that you should have received via email:


  2. Now enter your email address to receive a confirmation of the file that you submitted:


  3. Make a selection from the agenda below:


  4. Click "Browse" to browse your computer for the WORD document containing your report. Please note that there is a 10M byte file size limit.


  5. Finally, click the "Send File" button to upload the report.
